1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Sensiq platform ("Sensiq," "the Service," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms apply to:
- Organisations using Sensiq for recruitment
- Users accessing the platform under an organisation's licence
- Candidates interacting with Sensiq's AI-powered workflows
- Any person accessing Sensiq Assistant or AI-enabled features
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and AI Processing Notice.
2. Description of the Service
Sensiq is an AI-powered recruitment and evaluation platform that provides:
- CV/résumé parsing, enrichment, and structured extraction
- Automated and interactive AI chat interviews
- Candidate scoring, job-fit analysis, and competency assessments
- Sensiq Assistant for recruitment assistance
- Job pipeline management and application tracking
- Analytics dashboards and reporting
- Multi-tenant organisational workspaces with role-based permissions
- File-processing pipelines and document analysis
- AI-driven summaries, insights, and recommendations
We may add, modify, or retire features as the platform evolves.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and belong to an organisation with a valid subscription.
3.2 Registration and Access
To use Sensiq, you must:
- Provide accurate registration details
- Maintain the confidentiality of credentials
- Use the Service only as permitted under these Terms
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3.3 Organisational Control
Organisations administering the account may:
- Add, remove, or modify user access
- Access and manage candidate data
- Configure workspace settings and permissions
4. Subscriptions, Billing & Usage Limits
4.1 Subscription Fees
Fees are billed monthly or annually and are shown on our pricing page. We may revise pricing with at least 30 days' notice.
4.2 Payment Terms
- Fees are charged in advance
- You authorize automatic recurring billing
- Failed payments may result in suspension
- No refunds for partial billing cycles
4.3 Usage Limits
Plans may include limits on:
- Document processing volumes
- Monthly interviews
- Sensiq Assistant usage
- AI enrichment workflows
Exceeding limits may require purchasing top-ups or contacting Sensiq Support directly to upgrade your plan.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or for discriminatory purposes
- Upload harmful, malicious, or infringing content
- Interfere with platform integrity or security
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt data extraction
- Bypass usage limits or internal security controls
- Share access credentials with unauthorised users
We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.
Additional Use Restrictions
In addition to the restrictions above, you agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- (a) use the Service, the Platform, its outputs, or any knowledge of its operation to design, develop, train, test, benchmark, enhance, or operate any product, service, system, workflow, or model that competes with, is similar to, or could reasonably substitute for Sensiq;
- (b) use the Service for the purpose of evaluating, planning, or supporting the development or procurement of an internal or third-party system intended to replicate or replace material functionality of the Service;
- (c) disclose or make available any non-public information relating to the Service's architecture, workflows, logic, scoring, enrichment methods, prompts, analytics, or system behaviour to any applicant tracking system (ATS), CRM, HRIS, AI vendor, consultant, software provider, or internal development team;
- (d) use any outputs, scores, rankings, summaries, enrichment data, or other information generated by the Service to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or benchmark any external machine-learning or AI system;
- (e) assist, advise, or enable any third party or internal team to build, enhance, or operate any competing or similar recruitment, hiring, screening, or AI-driven system.
6. Candidate Data & Organisational Responsibilities
Your organisation acts as the data controller for candidate data. You are responsible for:
- Ensuring lawful collection of candidate information
- Providing required privacy notices
- Using AI insights responsibly (not as sole decision criteria)
- Maintaining appropriate data retention policies
- Deleting candidate data when no longer required
Sensiq processes candidate data only as documented in our Privacy Policy and AI Processing Notice.
7. AI Services, Outputs & Limitations
7.1 Nature of AI Outputs
Sensiq uses proprietary and third-party AI technologies to generate:
- Scores, rankings, and suitability predictions
- Summaries, insights, and recommendations
- Contextual understanding of CVs and interviews
AI outputs are advisory only. Human judgment must always be applied before making hiring decisions.
7.2 Accuracy & Limitations
You acknowledge that:
- AI may produce imperfect or probabilistic results
- Outputs may not always reflect complete accuracy
- You are responsible for verifying critical decisions
7.3 Model Development & Processing
Internal AI improvement activities are governed by our AI Processing Notice, which explains:
- when and how identifiable data may be used under legitimate interests
- safeguards protecting candidates and clients
- boundaries on access, retention, and usage
Sensiq does not train third-party external models using your data.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Platform IP
All intellectual property relating to the Service—including software, architecture, models, content, features, and branding—is owned by Sensiq.
8.2 User Content
You retain ownership of all documents, data, and materials you upload.
By using the Service, you grant Sensiq a licence to process such data:
- to provide the platform
- to maintain platform security
- to improve AI features as described in the AI Processing Notice
You warrant that you have the rights required to upload and process any data you provide.
8.3 Restrictions on Derivative Use
You shall not create, attempt to create, or assist in the creation of any derivative works, modified systems, adapted workflows, interfaces, scoring methodologies, or processes based on or derived from the Service, whether for internal use or for third parties.
You shall not use the Service, the Platform, or any Confidential Information as a blueprint, benchmark, reference design, or guide for the development or improvement of any competing or similar recruitment, hiring, screening, or AI-enabled product or service.
9. Service Availability & Modifications
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:
- Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Modify, update, or discontinue platform features
- Experience downtime outside our control
We will endeavour to provide notice when reasonably possible.
10. Termination & Account Deletion
10.1 Your Right to Terminate
You may cancel your subscription or request account deletion at any time by contacting Sensiq Support. All deletion and closure actions are handled directly by Sensiq, not via self-service.
10.2 Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the platform
- Payments fail and remain unresolved
10.3 Data Handling Upon Termination
Upon termination:
- Access is revoked
- Data is deleted according to our retention policies
- You are responsible for requesting data export before closure
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
No guarantee is provided that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any hiring decision.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENSIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Sensiq harmless from claims arising out of:
- your violation of these Terms
- your misuse of the Service
- your organisation's processing of personal data
- your hiring decisions based on AI outputs
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Jurisdiction for any dispute lies exclusively with the courts of London, United Kingdom.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Additional Agreements
Certain customers, including pilot, founding, enterprise, or strategic customers, may be required to enter into additional confidentiality, non-use, or commercial agreements with Sensiq.
Where such agreements are in place, they supplement these Terms and shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency relating to confidentiality, permitted use, or intellectual-property rights.
